SCHOOL PROJECTS
COURSE:
ART DIRECTION
It is one of my favorite courses so far. Thanks to this class, I understand more about conceptualization, art direction, and computer applications. During the course, my team chose to work on advertising the Fonos audiobook app, so we planned a Thematic campaign to increase brand awareness and image amongst the Vietnamese audience. We presented the strategy and the animated TVC to the clients and the lecturer, and our campaign received a lot of positive feedback from them.
COURSE:
COPYWRITING
In this course, I discovered how spoken and written words are used in advertising across the globe to communicate and persuade effectively. More specifically, I learn some skills on how to write and create compelling headlines, persuasive body copy, engaging scripts, and scenarios for diverse media platforms. And here are some of my works about the brochure and website to advertise the brand's product.
COURSE:
CREATIVE
ADVERTISING
I learned about creation theories and how to prepare and develop creative ideas in various media and target audiences. My friend and I produced an advertising campaign for Logitech Bluetooth speakers with three postcards to serve as the basis for that campaign.
COURSE:
EXPLORING ASIAN POPULAR CULTURE
I learned about contemporary Asian popular culture, exploring how pop cultures are constructed, marketed, and then consumed by their audiences. In addition, I also made a magazine about Japanese food culture, specifically Ikizukuri Cuisine, showing the differences between Asian and Western food cultures.
COURSE:
INTERDISCIPLINARY COMMUNICATION PROJECT
Our clients wanted to organize a seminar series to introduce researchers in RMIT's Professional Communication Department and present research projects related to Vietnam to the public. It was a big event, so we had to do a lot of things including creating a website, promotional videos, etc. And in the end, our team and another team were selected, and the clients combined our ideas and organized a successful event.
COURSE:
MAKING MEDIA
In this course, I learned how to create media such as podcast, magazine, and website. It was my first course studied at university, so I did not have much experience or knowledge in the media industry and skills to perform the assignment well. However, with the whole team efforts, we made a podcast and a magazine, and these were also my first finished work.
COURSE:
PHOTOGRAPHY
101
Project: Cherish every memory, Love every moment.
The purpose of this project was I wish to share moments of the children's growth with their families, especially those who can not always be there. Besides, I hope when the children look back at these photos, they will recall their childhood memories and understand how precious the time they had was, and cherish that moment. It would be hard to photograph children from childhood to adulthood, so I decided to take pictures of a children's day off to the zoo, specifically their activities, actions, emotions, and costumes, to capture the most beautiful moments most naturally.
